Castelar Park is an urban park in Spain located in the centre of the city of Badajoz, in the area of the old olive grove and orchards of the convent of Santo Domingo.
It was inaugurated in December 1903 and its current appearance is due to a reform carried out in 1941 under the direction of Juan Nogres Rauch, after a windstorm that destroyed a large part of the garden.
Its tall palm trees, of the Washingtonia robusta type, give it a warm, tropical air where the visitor can also make out the pond in the central part, where ducks and pigeons live.
In the central part of the pond there is a statue of the romantic writer Carolina Coronado, who was born in the city of Almendralejo and lived in Badajoz.
