The Museo de la Cuchillería de Albacete (MCA) is a historical museum housed in the Hortelano house, an early 20th century mansion located in the central Plaza de la Catedral, designed by Daniel Rubio.

The museum exhibits unique works of art from the world of cutlery of all types, styles, materials and periods.

In addition, among the many areas of the museum you can find the recreation of a cutlery workshop, images of old cutlery workshops that are part of the history of Albacete or an area for the projection of audiovisual content about the manufacture of knives in Albacete.

The museum has an area dedicated to temporary exhibitions. Among the most visited are those of foreign knives and the exhibition of scissors, previously unseen in the museum.
