The Millennium Bridge, also known as the Gaviota Bridge because of its shape, is one of the six bridges over the Miño River in the city of Orense, located between the medieval bridge and the N-525 bridge.
It was designed by the architect Álvaro Varela de Ugarte, from the Madrid School of Architecture, and stands out for the pedestrian walkway that surrounds the entire bridge, like a ring, rising up to 22 meters above and descending on the sides.
