The Viana Palace is a palace-museum located in the Santa Marina neighborhood, within the historic center of the city of Córdoba. It was designated a Site of Cultural Interest in the Monument category on March 27, 1981.
Its construction dates back to the 15th century, and over time, the building was expanded and transformed with additions from different periods. The palace takes its name from the Marquisate of Viana, the last family to own it. After its acquisition by the Caja Provincial de Ahorros, the complex opened to the public in 1981, allowing visitors to explore its twelve courtyards, the garden, and the interior rooms, which together cover approximately 6,500 square meters. In 2019, it welcomed over 193,000 visitors, establishing itself as one of Córdoba’s most visited and iconic cultural sites.
