The wooden gallery was the idea of Afonso Daniel Rodríguez Castelao, one of Otero Pedrayo's best friends. The history of this beautiful corner of the house is curious, as the design of the wooden structure was made by correspondence after Castelao spent some time in Trasalba in 1935, after returning from the forced exile to which he had been condemned. The gallery can be liked more or less, but from the moment one crosses the entrance gate, it is the first thing that catches the eye, being the most characteristic element of the house.
